with Caroline Morrison, M.Div.

Oct 25, 2025 10:30 CT

Join Folx with Faith for an inspiring evening with Rev. Caroline Morrison, M.Div., hospice chaplain, author, and former Army Religious Affairs Specialist, as we explore the Power of Zeal through the lens of divine love and liberation.

Drawing from her anthology Shouting from the Margins: Sermons about Love and Liberation, Rev. Morrison will reflect on what it means to embody holy enthusiasm in times of struggle and hope when faith calls us to act with courageous compassion. Her message reminds us that zeal is the passion to love boldly, serve faithfully, and stand firm for justice.

What are the benefits of joining online LGBTQ+ events?

  • Safe Space. The single most important benefit of joining online LGBTQ events is the contained, safe space for LGBTQ people to connect with each other. Many LGBTQ people feel isolated and alone, especially if they live in a community that is not accepting of LGBTQ people.
  • Diversity & Reach. Online events may attract a more diverse audience than in-person events: people from all over the world can attend. This supports folx who live in areas not served by large queer communities, and also serves those who may find live events cost prohibitive.
  • Sharing Stories. Virtual events give LGBTQ+ people a platform to share their experiences. When we share our stories, it reduces feelings of isolation and shame, and increases understanding.
  • Expanded Understanding & Awareness. Online LGBTQ events can also be a great way to learn about LGBTQ issues — even within our community! And the more LGBTQ people come together to celebrate their community, the more we can support breaking down stereotypes and prejudice.

In Person Meetings

You can find additional in-person and local online meetings in our directory. The directory includes a variety of queer-centric faith based groups.
