Rev. Dr. Paul Hasselbeck is one of today’s leading authorities on Unity metaphysics. A former Dean of Spiritual Education and Enrichment at Unity Institute, Paul has dedicated decades to teaching, writing, and mentoring students and spiritual leaders.

He is the author and co-author of several influential books, including PowerUP: The Twelve Powers Revisited as Accelerated Abilities (with Rev. Dr. Cher Holton), Point of Power: Practical Metaphysics to Help You Transform Your Life and Realize Your Magnificence, and Get Over It! and Get Over These, Too! (with Rev. Dr. Bil Holton).

When he’s not teaching or writing, Paul shares his wisdom through speaking engagements, workshops, and podcasts, always with the intention of helping others live more consciously, joyfully, and authentically.

Empowered Living: Will

with Dr. Rev. Paul Hasselbeck

August 28, 2025 10:30 CT

This month at Folx with Faith, we welcome Rev. Dr. Paul Hasselbeck, renowned metaphysical teacher, author, and lifelong student of spiritual truth. Known for making deep metaphysical principles practical and accessible, Paul will guide us in exploring the Power of Will. Our capacity to choose, commit, and align with the highest expression of our authentic selves.

Drawing from his book PowerUP: The Twelve Powers Revisited as Accelerated Abilities, Paul will help us understand Will as the ability to focus our consciousness, say “yes” or “no” with clarity, and live from deliberate choice. Together, we’ll explore how to use this power in everyday life to cultivate purpose, discernment, and freedom from old patterns.

Whether you’re seeking clarity on your next step, support in aligning with your values, or tools for making empowered decisions, you’re invited to join us for this insightful and transformative conversation.

What are the benefits of joining online LGBTQ+ events?

  • Safe Space. The single most important benefit of joining online LGBTQ events is the contained, safe space for LGBTQ people to connect with each other. Many LGBTQ people feel isolated and alone, especially if they live in a community that is not accepting of LGBTQ people.
  • Diversity & Reach. Online events may attract a more diverse audience than in-person events: people from all over the world can attend. This supports folx who live in areas not served by large queer communities, and also serves those who may find live events cost prohibitive.
  • Sharing Stories. Virtual events give LGBTQ+ people a platform to share their experiences. When we share our stories, it reduces feelings of isolation and shame, and increases understanding.
  • Expanded Understanding & Awareness. Online LGBTQ events can also be a great way to learn about LGBTQ issues — even within our community! And the more LGBTQ people come together to celebrate their community, the more we can support breaking down stereotypes and prejudice.

In Person Meetings

You can find additional in-person and local online meetings in our directory. The directory includes a variety of queer-centric faith based groups.
