Join us for an inspiring gathering with Skip Jennings—minister, spiritual coach, author, wellness expert, and host of The Shift with Skip podcast—as we explore what it means to live an empowered life.
Heavily influenced by Yogic practices, Skip brings a blend of spiritual wisdom and mindful movement to his teaching. During the 2024 Folx with Faith retreat, skip drew from his own journey and metaphysical practices and invited us to activate the throat chakra, the energy center of communication and self-expression, and align with our divine power.
We look forward to having him share with us for our next Folx with Faith gather.

What are the benefits of joining online LGBTQ+ events?
- Safe Space. The single most important benefit of joining online LGBTQ events is the contained, safe space for LGBTQ people to connect with each other. Many LGBTQ people feel isolated and alone, especially if they live in a community that is not accepting of LGBTQ people.
- Diversity & Reach. Online events may attract a more diverse audience than in-person events: people from all over the world can attend. This supports folx who live in areas not served by large queer communities, and also serves those who may find live events cost prohibitive.
- Sharing Stories. Virtual events give LGBTQ+ people a platform to share their experiences. When we share our stories, it reduces feelings of isolation and shame, and increases understanding.
- Expanded Understanding & Awareness. Online LGBTQ events can also be a great way to learn about LGBTQ issues — even within our community! And the more LGBTQ people come together to celebrate their community, the more we can support breaking down stereotypes and prejudice.
